Processes & Services Guard Selection Criteria and Job Training
Security Guards are enrolled strictly on merit after proper induction procedures which include testing of physical flexibility and strength as well as mental alertness and fitness.
Most of Homeland Security(Pvt) Ltd guards belong to the Armed Forces and their selection and maintenance is dependent upon their physical appearance, health, age, duration of service in the armed forces and character. Each Regional Office maintains and operates a training room with requisite facilities to enhance the capacity of guards in weapon handling and firing for various jobs and locations. We also focus training on first aid, personal search vehicle search, fire fighting emergency response procedure and health and safety at work.
In addition Homeland Security (Pvt) Ltd also provide on job training and specialized training such as Security and Protection Courses from the Elite Police Training School and Askari Guards.
Monitoring & Evaluation
Homeland Security (Pvt) Ltd UNDERSTANDS THAT THE PURPOSE OF Monitoring and Evaluation is not to inspect but to facilitate its guards and customers towards establishing a better working relationship. Therefore, the M&E unit ventures to seek facts and faults in its business operations and make remedies accordingly.
Homeland Security (Pvt) Ltd M&E Framework is based on providing the right input in terms of guards and equipment and achieving the right outcome in terms of establishing a compact security system for its clients. The M & E ensures that the guards are providing services by creating a safe and secure satisfaction. The guards are duly rewarded for their acts of valor and good performance. This motivates the guards in performing their tough tasks more effectively and efficiently.
On the ground, duty supervisors check the performance of the guards at different locations on daily basis and report back to the Manager Operations. In addition, surprise checks are conducted randomly to inspect the uniforms, weapons, turn out and performance of guards. The margin of error in safety and security is minimal; therefore, appropriate action is taken against the violators. Feedback from clients is taken on regular basis.
Command & Control Centre
Homeland Security (Pvt) Ltd operates throughout Pakistan with its Head Office in Karachi and regional offices in major cities including Lahore and Multan along with sub offices in small cities and towns. Each regional office operates a Command and Control Centre on round the clock basis to monitor the deployed guard’s performance. Moreover, the Head Office has a duty officer on the desk 24 hours a day and 7 days a week to keep a constant contact with Regional and Sub Offices to receive daily feedback.
Communication System
- Along with Command & Control Centre, Homeland Security (Pvt) Ltd has established an effective line communication system from its head office down to regional and sub offices. Besides the line communication, all officers down to supervisors and night checkers are equipped with cell phones.
Homeland Security (Pvt) Ltd maintains an authorized wireless frequency and operates using walkie talkies and vehicle mobiles set wherever required. Emergency situations are dealt with through the Command and Control Centre.
Digital Security System
We arrange the latest technology devices such as state of the art CCTV, alarm systems, metal detectors and walk through gates. There are no voids in our security solutions.

Facilities & Guard Policies
Package- The guards are paid compatible salary package and overtime with incentives in the form of year increments. Timely payment of salaries at deployed places is ensured.
Provisions- Two pairs of company uniform including a pair of shoes, cap, belt and socks are issued to guards as his personal kit.
- Quality weapons with ammunition are provided to the guards.
- Homeland Security (Pvt) Ltd arranges single accommodation for the guards in case of non availability at the location.
- Pick and drop service (where required) is also provided.
Guard’s Fighting Ability- Most of security guards and supervisors are retired personnel from Armed Forces and have been amply trained during their active service. However, the Company has also established training rooms at Regional Offices to impart initial and on job training to the Guards, refresher training sessions are carried out regularly at different intervals. Depending upon the sensitivity of Homeland Security (Pvt) Ltd clients, special sessions are also conducted as part of on job training. In addition, to ensure fitness and agility to perform standing duty, the maximum age limit for guards is laid down as maximum 50 years
Guard’s Educational Qualification- Most of security guards being ex-soldiers are either matriculates or have received education from Army during their service. Education of civilian guards is generally Matric and above.
